Well a real good buddy is getting married and I started hunting around for suits. I don't have time to go to Hong Kong and have one customized so I did the next best thing。I am having one custom made in Taiwan.
I dragged along my roommate Sam to a shopping area near Taipei 101。Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A8 was the only place that had a good deal on nice dress shirts. Two for NT $2,000.00 ~ $62.50 USD. Did I also mention that I was measured up and the shirts altered to fit really nice. All inclusive in the price.
Afterwards later in the evening, I dragged my friend che-ping (Aka Julia) to Ximen (西門) as a translator to find a shop that could make my suit in time for the wedding.
(Ack!!! sorry for the poor picture, my digi camera is cheap and over used. I need to start looking for a replacement.) At any rate this is exit 6 of Ximen Station (西門站).
It turns out that Ximen is a popular hangout for young Taiwanese teenagers. Plenty of stores selling the latest trends, restaurants, and over priced useless knick naks.
