Right after class my roommates and I decided to go to Shilin night market. Unfortunately we got caught up in "traffic"...human traffic that is.
It gets chaotic during rush hour which is about (5pm ~6ish pm). Tons of people finish work and school and head home.
I didn't take many pictures of the night market but I did find out that a little section is dedicated to selling pets. Mainly tiny "tea cup" dogs which are still the fad in Taiwan. I would also like to add that Taiwanese love their pets. It is common to see dogs in sneakers, sweaters, and yup even doggy strollers (like baby strollers). Now if only people would get into the habit of picking up after their dogs when they walk them.
What's so interesting at this night market is that I saw "exotic" pets like two headed snakes, two headed frogs, porcupines, and I've heard that baby piglets can be bought.
