Last night my Dorm guide ( Yu-Wei) and I went to eat dinner. We were not sure of what to eat so Yu-Wei said "Hey, they are some good noodles I know". So we walk towards the north side of 和平東路二段118巷 in Da-an District. What do I find when I get there??? A really nice noodle shop that makes it's noodles by knife. That's right... by knife. The cook has a huge melon size dough on one arm and slice's small strips with his knife which then flies into a huge vat of hot water.
I ordered the same soup I had from another place two blocks down Beef noodle soup ( NT$90), with six sui jiaozi （水餃子） (NT$24).
So the Total came out to (NT $114 ~ $3.56 USD)
This morning :
I went to my regular breakfast spot. The food as always was spectacular. But I tried something new. I forgot what it's called but's it's ball of sticky white rice and some type of meat/peanut filling with a strip of deep fried cheese??? (I'll correct this description in the near future).
Enough to say this was extremely good. It cost (NT$25 ~ $0.78 USD)
Later I went to a fruit stand and bought REAL apples. These are the apples that were genetically altered and hense we have what Amercan's now know as the apple.
The total for the two apples I bought was (NT$33 ~ $0.92 USD)
Well off to ANOTHER orientation. Ill find out how poorly I did on the Chinese placement exam. Later today I'm going to hit up the gym and swimming pool, it's a really nice facility.
