First Impressions - differences

Since day one I noticed how much Taiwan (to me) seems like a combination of South Korea infrastructure and Mexico, Apaconeta in geography. The island is filled with green vegetation, trees, grass's, flowers etc all year round...simply beautiful. But the similarities end there, the differences are that Taiwanese people are by far the most delightful and courteous society I have met to date. Much more so then Japan, much more so then South Korea. I'm not saying that people from my previous travels weren't nice or courteous, but Taiwanese have the special social "magic" which ranks them number one on my list. The other noticeable difference is the large number of scooters used as daily transportation. It's certainly a force to be reckoned with when the traffic light turns green.
